Dr. Coel received her MD/PhD degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and completed her pediatrics residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She completed her sports medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado. Dr. Coel is double board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and in Sports Medicine (C.A.Q.S.M.) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P.). On her free time, Dr. Coel enjoys surfing, family time with her husband, 2 children, and goldendoodle, and eating dessert.
